[POL] Ogrom atrakcji dla rodzin i dzieci czeka - zapamietaj te date. 5 czerwca w Drum Community Centre, Athlone
[ENG] 1st June is very well known, particularly in Eastern and Central European countries and communities as International Children's Day. The main objective on Midlands Polish Community CLG is to support integration and foster artistic, cultural and social development in our modern, diversified Irish communities and that is why we would like to invite ALL families and children to call in to Drum Community Centre, Athlone on Sunday 5th June and celebrate together! Start at 1pm! It is an event open to everyone and everyone is more than welcome to attend and have fun – especially children, naturally! Great range of different attractions are already booked like, carousel, bouncy castle, gaming van, exploration dome, science show, obstacle course and lots more! We have also invited local groups from Poland, Africa, India, Latvia and Ukraine to perform on the stage during the day. Athlone Fire Brigade, Athlone Order of Malta and Roscommon Civil Defence have all kindly accepted our invitation to support the event and put a smiles on children’s faces. There will be food stalls, ice cream, coffee van and other delights! We have also some space for arts & crafts stands and we would like to invite the traders to contact us to book a table. This ‘International Children’s Day – Family Day’ is supported by the Community Integration Fund from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth and we would sincerely thank for the support! We would also like to thank to the Drum Community Centre committee for all the support received in the last 5 years and the Principal of Colaiste Chiarain Summerhill, Athlone - Mr Brendan Waldron for their support. The entry and car park is free however €10 wristband will be required to avail of some ‘special attractions’ for children – all funds collected on the day will support partial renovation of Drum Community Centre which will be delivered by Midlands Polish Community CLG later on during the year. Save the date.

Thank you very much for all the support! See less
