[POL] Ruszamy z akcją szycia maseczek dla potrzebujących! Maseczki są przekazywane ZA DARMO lokalnym instytucjom zgłaszającym się po pomoc, które zatrudniają pielęgniarki i opiekunów.
Zapraszamy osoby chętne do nieodpłatnego szycia maseczek aby dołączyły do naszego zespołu. Zachęcamy też wszystkich do podarowania materiałów niezbędnych do ich produkcji.
Zbieramy następujące materiały:
Bawełna min 70% (najlepiej 100%), tzw. pościelowa, gramatura ok 100-150g lub mikrofibra 150g/dwuwarstowa

[POL] Ogromnie dzieki dla wolontariuszek z Athlone i Longford, które uszyły już kilkaset maseczek w ramach akcji 'Maseczki dla Irlandii'. Szczególne podziekowania dla @Magdalena KC Podsiadly, która zainicjowała całą akcję ale także dla @Kasia Pasik oraz @Katarzyny Sochackiej. 300 masek zostało już rozdanych w Athlone, 50 trafi do domu opieki w Ballymahon, 40 do Lanesboro i kolejnych 30 do Public Health Nurses w Athlone. Serdeczne podziękowania dla wszystkich, którzy tak chojnie wsparli naszą zbiorke na iFundraise oraz dla grupy 'Pomocna Dłoń' w zamach stowarzyszenia Midlands Polish Community.
[ENG] Huge thanks to lady volunteers from Athlone and Longford who has sawn over 300 cloth masks so far as part of our 'Face masks for Ireland' initiative. Sincere thanks particularly to Magda Podsiadły, who initiated whole movement but also thanks to Kasia Pasik and Kasia Sochacka. 300 masks were donated to few places in Athlone already. Another 50 will be delivered to the nursing home in Ballymahon, 40 to Lanesboro and 30 will be given to the Public Health Nurses in Athlone. Thank you to all who greatly supported our crowd funding initiative on iFundraise and also to all members of our support subgroup, part of Midlands Polish Community.

[ENG] In response to Peggy Nolan's appeal we donated 90 cloth masks to Public Health Nurses in Longford. Those were handmade by our fantastic volunteers from Midlands as part of our 'Face masks for Ireland' initiative:

[POL] To był bardzo pracowity tydzień dla naszej grupy 'Pomocna Dłoń' oraz dla wolontariuszek szyjących maseczki. Dostarczyliśmy maski m.in dla pracowników poczty w Athlone, Public Health Nurse w Monksland, Athlone, Meals on Wheels w Longford, Day Care Centre w Ballymahon, Order of Malta w Athlone, Longford LCRL, Public Health Nurses z Moate oraz do kilku domów opieki. Świetna robota!
[ENG] It was a very busy week for our support subgroup and volunteers sewing and delivering face masks. Masks were delivered to Athlone post office AnPost, Public Heath Nurses in Monksland, Meals on Wheels Longford, Ballymahon Day Care Centre, Order of Malta Athlone, Longford LCRL, Public Heath Nurses in Moate and to few nursing homes in the region. Well done everyone involved!

W ostatnich dniach maseczki zostały dostarczone m.in do: urzędów pocztowych w Longford, Athlone, Mullingar; St Hilda, Athlone oraz East Galway & Midlands Cancer Support; Midlands Simon Community; Meals on Wheels w Longford, Athlone, Mullingar; Ballinalee Health Centre. Kolejna partia jest przygodowywana dla Offaly Domestic Violence Support Services. Pierwsze kaftany ochronne zostały przekazane w Longford. Cieszymy się, że możemy solidarnie wspierać społeczności, w których żyjemy.
[ENG] Our community support subgroup 'Helpful Hand' together with volunteers who are sewing cloth face masks 'didn't take the foot from the pedal' lately. Face masks were delivered to: An Post offices in Athlone, Longford, Mullingar; St Hilda's Athlone, East Galway & Midlands Cancer Support, Midlands Simon Community, Meals on Wheels in Longford, Athlone, Mullingar; Ballinalee Health Centre. Batch for Offaly Domestic Violence Support Services are being prepared. First scrubs were distributed in Longford. We are very happy that we can show solidarity and support the communities where we live together.
